Amanda was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana but always knew she was destined for warmer climates. Upon graduating from Heritage Christian High School in 2006 she moved to Dallas to attend Southern Methodist University. As an undergraduate at SMU she thoroughly enjoyed writing for the school newspaper, The Daily Mustang, and reporting for the Daily Update campus news channel. While in college she developed her interest in real estate by acting as property manager for her condominium unit in Highland Park. Shortly after graduating from SMU in 2010 she married her college sweetheart, W.B. Cavender, and moved to San Antonio in 2011. She has since worked as manager for a local boutique in Alamo Heights before just recently obtaining her real estate license in February of 2014. She is thrilled to bring her passion for home design and décor to her clients. She is excited to help clients find the perfect home to suit their needs and lifestyle.

She enjoys spending her spare time with her husband, W.B., and their three children.
